Apply Taxes & Fees

When connecting TapHunter to Square POS you can select to have the tax information automatically added to every item when it is copied from TapHunter to Square. If you choose not to do this, you will have to manually set up the tax rate in Square.

To automatically apply taxes and fees, click on the “Settings” button for the POS account you have configured in the POS Settings tab in TapHunter.

The first option on that page will be “Apply Taxes/Fees” and this will allow you to select the taxes/fees you have set up in Square.

After you select the tax rate to apply and click the “Save changes” button, every item you copy from TapHunter to Square will now have this tax rate applied automatically.
